I have recently had my 87 inspected...and doing so had the parking brake adjusted as it never worked. My question is...when I pull up the handle/pressing the button and engaging the parkling brake...does the handle stay up...or should it fall back down??? Seems to me it should so one can exit...
I am a catalog junkie. I have them all....and know them all...& whats in them ...almost as well as my wifes Fredricks of Hollywood or Victorias Secret Catalogs!!!!:D
You know when I bought my 87 2 years ago...the original Delco Bose System had already been removed by the owner. I never really asked him why he replaced it. He did install a 6 cd changer as well as aftermarket speakers and a Kenwood am/fm cd player.. no cassette.
Well It didnt sound...
There are companies who transport enclosed. They specialize in more expensive specialized cars. I believe BMW, Mercedes transport all their high end stuff new that way. But there are companies for preowned, private owners. Check online for "Enclosed Motor CArriers or Enclosed Auto...

I installed Dynomax UltraFlow Stainless Mufflers to my 87 Coupe...but I was getting the infamous resonance at like 2500 -4000 RPM range. So I bought the Rear Y Pipe with the center cross over tube which claims to eliminate this annoying resonance. Well the results are in.....:_rock...
Ok, here's a far out question. Does anyone know if there is available some sort of archive...maybe in the Bowling Green Plant which would make it possible to get an original copy of the Window Sticker from the Dealership
from which my 87 was originally sold from??? :blue:
I have F/S a Rear OEM exhaust Y pipe which I took off my 87 Coupe. It is 2.25" pipe and is in excellent condition, no dents or cracks. I recently installed a Cat back Stainless Dynomax system ...and no longer need it.

NAAAAAH!!! Your normal....not to worry...put away the med's!!! I just got the smell of the wadding polish off my hands from last week. Actually got me tempted to buy some of those chrome plated accents like radiator caps, shock plate, ECM cover...but the Stainless steel costs alot of Mooola...
Hey...great site. To think..my 87 is what 17-18 yrs old. Cost 28k new....today I could sell her for about 12-13k..not bad depreciation!!!...especially seeing I just got a 2004 Chevy Impala from a family member who passed away...was $ 22k new, has only 9k mi on it and is only worth like...
I am looking to put on new mufflers on my 87 but am not sure which would be best, which sound better or have least resonance. I really like the all Stainless Steel Walker Dynomax UltraFlow Mufflers. I live by the Ocean and figured that the all Stainless Steel construction would be best...also...
I always wanted a C4 since they rolled off the production line in 84. I was just out of Highschool and remember there was this one "rich" kid in my class who always had the best & coolest car. He had an 82 Vette which he drove to class
and also had an 84 red Z28 as his "beater" which he drove...
You didn't mention if it was your daily driver or just a fun second car. I live in the Insurance risk capitol of the World(NJ), and have my 87 as a leisure only car. So instead of paying $800 per year for insurance I insured it through SNEED Insurance co..as a classic car. Cost me $375 yr, no...
What does everyone think about the passenger side dash pad on their C4?
I see that Ecklers et all sell a kit to remove and replace with either wood kits or a leather pouch..but I think it make the Vette look kind of strange. I think the pad gives the Corvette interior its character. Anyone...
Yeah sounds like the four bulbs under the round metal pull out clips on your speedo bezel are all burned out. They are fairly easy to change. I just replaced mine. One was burned out, the others were just dimming with age as all halogen bulbs do. Best way to pull out the bulbs is slipping a...
