    Pre-formed brake lines for1990 ?

That's the route that I would go. Measuring and bending is just a PITA. What's the cost like for braided SS/teflon lines?

    Rear End Fluid replacement

Synthetics just offer better all around protection. They have higher tolerances to heat and heat will destroy metal.

    tire question once again

But I think the max you can mount on the 9.5 rim is a 285.

    tire question once again

I think most people go with the 275/40's for the 17x9.5 rims. The 275/40's are still pretty common so that should be a factor for the future.

    Question: Radiator Engine Flush

That's what I would do. Think the reasoning behind not power flushing it is because for a car that old, you may not want to dislodge some of the things in there. Or does that apply more to the trans? I think flushing with water and then a mix of distilled water with a 50/50 mix of a quality...

What are you paying for a C6??

I believe the proper term would be git r done.:L

    Brake Pad?

I've used Bosch over the years without any problems. Pro Stop also seems to be a pretty good pad. If you go ceramic, figure about $65 for the fronts and slightly less for the rears.

    96 rear end sways

Check the rear sway bar. Check the bushings for it. There are two bolts holding a bracket which hold the bushing in place. Also, check each end of the sway bar. You'll probably have to remove the spare tire but you shouldn't have to remove the carrier just to see the brackets.

Oil change! How hard can it be?

Spray some WD-40 on those little puddles and then rub 'em out with a rag. Works like a charm.:upthumbs

    what wax are you using

I use mostly Mothers myself. I'm not a fan of claybaring, just don't like to do that much work!:L But I will wash it with Mothers and then use their FX wax. Work it in with the orbital and then off with the orbital. Windows get the Mothers window cleaner treatment. I use Wesley's for the...

    TRY ENTROPY RADIATORS!!!

How much improvising did you have to do to get it to fit/work properly since it wasn't direct fit?

Oil change! How hard can it be?

Wow, keep bringing it there and you're just asking for something major to go wrong. :ugh

How do I justify 2 Corvettes?

You want it and your financial obligations won't prevent you from getting it. Isn't that enough to justify?:D

    oil change

Rhino ramps make changing oil very easy. The Corvette is the easiest oil I've ever changed on any car.

News: Chevrolet Announces Certified Power Ratings For The New Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

Oh crap, did anyone else notice that oil capacity is 10.5 quarts? It'll cost you some decent money for oil changes. :L I remember reading that dealer markups were a reason why the GTO was killed off like it was. To me, not that many American cars inspire the "I have to have it" attitude...

    LS1 milage from an L98

You could get better mileage by simply keeping the car well maintained such as proper tire pressure, regular oil changes with a good synthetic oil (5w-30 seems to be a popular choice), plugs, wires, air filter, etc... A better flowing exhaust system would also reduce backpressure and get you...

    Question: replace a l98 engine for a ls6 on a 91 vette

I would take that L98 rebuild a little bit further and go 383. You'd get more HP and Torque than the LS6. No electronic or wiring nightmares.

    Trans leak

I might be late replying to this thread but you should build yourself one of these: It's just a gas can with a 3/8" fitting drilled in there with a long piece of tube. Stick that tube down the dipstick tube and run a shopvac through the pouring hole (is that really a part?) of the gas...

    Upgrading a 1990 L-98's exhaust

The TPIS catback, I believe, is a modified Flowmaster system with larger inlets and outlets. It is very loud!:ohnoes

    Upgrading a 1990 L-98's exhaust

As for the header questions, I would call TPIS themselves. I've heard they are quite helpful.
