That's a valid point you are making. I understood from some extensive searching also the control module could be the fault. I'm still puzzled due to the fact when it is build out it seams to work just fine, only fitted in the car it stops opening after a while...

Did you leave the key in the on position in the ignition switch? This might have burned your point since when the are closed the circuit through the resistor and coil in drawing current all the time. You should always switch the key to the off position when the car is not running!
