I have a couple of fibreglassing projects "in hand" at the moment, but the one that's occupying my time right now is fitting a 67 BB scoop to my 77's bonnet (sorry...hood). Here's a pic showing me halfway through removing the paint with a razor blade....easy...
We'll have to see what we can come up with. I'm off to work here now and won't be back until 11.00pm my time so I'll "see" you then.
Btw, these things aren't cheap ......well at least it wasn't over here. $300.00 Aus +!
As you can probably see from my close up pic, I could have used a slightly bigger cap but the 500 was the largest they had. I originally planned to turn up an alloy base to take up the small gap around the outside of the cap, but I'll leave it for now as I'm well into another project. Does lots...

klb...I'm sorry I don't have a name for the yellow colour my car is painted in. Originally it was Corvette Tan. One of the most unsports car colours I've ever seen.

Ken...I see your point but it's more a matter of having them shipped from their origianl point of purchase as marine parts rather than who receives them. If they come into the country labeled as car parts in any way then the game is over.
