Swiped this answer from another forum. No clue if its right or not Enamel. All St. Louis C3s used acrylic lacquer. Bowling Green used enamel. The E reminds dealers/painters that the paint is not lacquer.

Have a 99 also and same issue with AM. Actually FM isn't all that good either. Stations I pick up clear as a bell in my daily driver can't be found in the vette. I need to set aside a day to chase the assorted gremlins in the car and replace both DRL assemblies. Will be watching this thread.

Not vented as far as I know. When working on fuel rails, injectors or system, ALWAYS remove/crack the gas cap, otherwise fuel will try(and be successful) to escape.

^yeahthat Had a similar problem that went away once I cleaned up all the grounding points. If I remember correctly, driver's side of engine grounds were really funky and I suspect that's where the problem was.

Been trying to figure that out myself. Fusions are front wheel drive and at WOT, the front end doesn't get as much lift as it would if it was rear wheel drive. Hard to imagine the vette not getting pushed around by impact rather than run over.
