    Hey everyone, this is not necessarily a Vette question but does anyone know of a darkening product that will darken factory silver paint? I had magnetic signs on my Sienna which is silver and now the paint where the signs were is lighter :confused weird huh??

    ItMark, If you haven't drained the old gas, I think there's a product called "start your engines" that supposed to "decontaminate" old gas, I've seen it at Pep Boys, you could try that

    Not sure about a new balancer 93Rubie, we're using the original balancer, but I think you're correct, and not sure if you looked at it but there's an arrow on the balancer and that has to be pointing UP, as engine is set to TDC, and also the balancer can only go on the hub one way, hope this helps

    Glenn, we got the pan off without lowering exhaust and we didn't jack up the engine either, just unbolted the starter, I wasn't sure, Thanks though

    Well, we're back to work on my 92, replacing water pump,opti,timing cover gasket etc, and I wanted to know if we need to loosen the exhaust to remove the oil pan? the fsm says it needs to be loosened but it doesn't seem to be in the way?

    We removed the balancer on my 92 without jacking the engine, we just banged on it with a block of wood and mallet, just hammer all around the balancer lightly a little at a time and it will pop off,
