Greetings all. I was hoping to gain some insight into my no start problem that has me stumped. It was running perfect, except for a little noise from the alternator so..., I purchased a new one and installed it in and ever since, it just will not start. Cranking it over and over, it...
I have a 1500 mile, 2006 Coupe that, aside from battery issues, everything else functions properly. Since I store my Vette more than I actually drive it, up to Four months at a time; Should I be able to trust all would be OK leaving a "Battery Tender Plus" connected all winter OR would would...
I just might have to do that.... are there any drawbacks to slapping in super charger into a 2006 Auto Coupe? I've seen quite a few pictures of pople that have done this mod but I've never heard any feedback about it . . ?
But out of curiousity . . . If the A6 takes on 400h from the factory, and the ever insightly moders out there throw in nitrous and a supercharger's on top of their coupes, the A6 seems to welcome this power . . . I can't imagine that there wouldn't much of a jump to create an auto OPTION ... I...
I think the thread is getting off topic.... I'm really just trying to figure out why GM doesn't or didn't offer an automatic in the ZO6 . . . not that the C6's 6 speed Paddle shift Automatic transmission would be the only option.
Oh definitely, I totally agree... but it seems, at least I seem to think anyway :), that paddle shift auto's currently in the regular C6, could more handle the Z06 could dish out.... no?
Ya, but weren't some of the older and maybe so still today, I don't know, but weren't some of the Top Fulies drag racing with some auto's like the "Doug Nash Auto's?" I can understand making sure the chasis should be a solid structure, hence minus a convert or removable top, but . . . there...
Will someone please educate me . . . Last year, I purchased my C-6 with the paddle shift auto trans and it truly almost makes you feel like one could have 2 transmissions in their vette, an Auto AND a Standard. But what I can't understand is, why doesn't or didn't . . , GM elect to design a Z06...
Oh no, not at at all. Not agitated withh you at all... perhaps with GM maybe but definitely not with you!!! I apologize if I conveyed that. That's the problem with typed text I suppose, it is hard to convey any expression with what is typed sometimes. I appreciate your help definitely!
Well, apparently there are two different grilles as a couple other post's in this thread don't have this type of grill, so, shouldn't GM give me a one piece grill? There appears to be no tow hook and I ain't in Europe!!! ?
So, I take it that some of these got through on the US markets and therefore, considered "factory?" Is there a thread you can point me to where this topic was previously discussed?
Thanks for checking that, at least now I know mine isn't some oddball out. I really don't know what the advantage is to having the grille like that. I thought at first it may have been the motor air sensor or I if it was just simply a defect in design that was compensated by this "band aid" ...
Greetings;
Could a couple of you fellow 2006 coupe owners help me and verify the grille on my 2006 coupe. Mine has a black plastic "band aid" wrapped around one of the fins . . . could you take a look at yours and see if thats a typical part on all 2006 coupes?
Ya, it's at the dealer getting a scvratch from transit repaired. As soon as I get it back I'll post a picture. If you could look at your grille though and you'll see it, if it's a stock piece anyway.
To fellow C6 coupe owners, have you notice a black plastic sleeve wrapped around on of the fins on the front grille? Is this factory and if so, what is the purpose of it? I bought my 2006 coupe new and really, can't figure out what it's purpose is.
Could someone give me some insight on the new wheels for the 2006 C6?
I love everything about my new C6 except . . . the wheels. I love the wheel design itself but, they're advertised as "Highly" polished aluminum wheels but I gotta' tell ya' . . . there's nothing "Highly" polished about 'em...
Awesome! Sounds impressive. I'll be able to try both modes out on Friday whhen I get my new coupe. Question, with advancements like this, I can't imagine the difficulty in a Z06 being equipped with this tranny. Why hasn't GM ever doing such?
