I agree, but ANY salesperson selling a product should know about it, especially cars though!
Although it does make me laugh when I know more about it than they do! I want to ask them to split their commission with me! :D
This rumor was probably started by some Nissan Engineer who was doing some wishful thinking after seeing our car lay the smack down on the GTR! :D
Even though the ZR1 is out of my price range, I'm glad the rumor isn't true! :beer
Thanks for the video! :beerIf that car is $100k, then that's the only ride in it that I'll get! :D
My guess is also that it's a stick because you can hear the driver revving the gas before downshifting for a corner. I don't think automatics have to do that (at least mine doesn't , but I don't...
Thanks for the pictorial! That's a nice looking catch can and they do work! I've got a different brand, that was quite a bit more than Chip's is (his wasn't out when I bought mine) and one of these is a good investment in the longevity of your motor!
I do have a question though Chip. The line...
If you tune it using LTFT's/STFT's, that'll work alright until WOT, that's when you need the WB02 sensor. I did my part throttle using the trims, but haven't done the WOT part yet (which is actualy easier than make it driveable). My buttometer definitely says taht I picked up something. Mileage...
I had those and they worked Great, but I got tired of the popups and put on some C5R's with HID's and now it's daytime at night! :D
I hear that the PIAA driving lights are VERY bright too. Aiming them is what's the most important part of not getting lights flashed at you.
Could your sims be bad? It's been known to happen. Why exactly did you put the rear 02's up front? I heard that they are a little quicker reacting, but don't know if that's true or not. I'm just curious.
You might want to check your install for exhaust leaks as they can trip a code too. If you still have the cats on, you don't delete the cats, you turn off the rear 02 sensors. These sensor thell the ECM that the cats are working correctly. If the cats weren't good, it'd smell like rotten eggs...
Mine passed too, but I have FLP headers. They no longer do the sniffer tests in my area, now it's plugging into the OBDII port (which works for me because I have EfiLive and can fix/tune out the codes ;) ).
The only problem with the headers is if you put in the off road pipes (test tubes)...
I have one of John's "Ricer" spoilers on my car and it's a nice piece. A Rube won't like it, but their pretty boring anyway! :D
The quality of the spoiler is Very High and it fits nicely. It's a little scary at first, because it's held on with double sided tape, but so are the BSM's, so I got...
I see two things wrong about your comment..................
1) The Millennium Yellow CORVETTES look like their doing 150 mph just sitting there!
2) The ONLY way you'll pass an M/Y car at 150 is if it's parked! :D
I'm just playin' witcha. Both are nice cars and when it comes down to it...
Sure it is! Always blame a mini van on the girlfriend! Judging by the baby blue, girlie color, it's probably her Vette and your van! :D
I'm just kidding with you! :beer
I bought my M/Y C5 because I wanted a car that looked Cool just sitting there (I know that all Corvettes are cool...
