I have the same issue with my 2007, Had battery out to charge it (dead) and when put back in, clock is blank and cannot reset it. The nav screen and xm came up fine but the gps coordinate entry is blank. I did not drive it more than ten miles after the battery reinstallation. Hope a fix is...

    Question: Your first car

I can't believe the difference in cars over all of these years! Here goes: My first car was a 1960 Reanult 4CV, the model with the suicide doors. It had a 4 cylinder engine with all of 26 hp. Believe me, 60 mph downhill was about the max and one had to shift into first gear to climb a hill by my...

Help! Cruising for a Brusing !

Where we live in Southwest PA, the roads are also poor. The only way the politicians will do anything is if they hear from us. They are afraid to raise any gas tax but most people support good roads and are willing to pay their fair share to keep the roads in good condition. My state legislator...

Question: why does the power seats slide back and forth.

I recently purchased a "C5 Seat Repair Kit" from a reputable vendor. The kit includes 4 new spacers and 2 tools to take the seat tracks apart and also some detailed instructions. Haven't tried the repair yet (weathers too nice!) I will post results when complete.

    Solar Battery Maintainer

Gee I had hoped for more enlightening (and serious) comments but after I returned from the Steeler game tonight, I see why the West coast comments lacked electricity.

    Solar Battery Maintainer

Has anyone used a solar battery maintainer to keep the battery charged during winter storage? My C5 battery lasts about 5 weeks before it needs recharged unless the car is driven.

Question: How are the roads in your area?

Roads in our area (Pittsburgh) vary from good to terrible! We cracked a wheel on the 2008 sts last month on a deep pothole. The $900+ repair bill would have paid a lot of gas taxes. Needless to say, I am very careful with the vet.

    New Tires

I agree I put on the Michlen ZP Pilot Sports last year. A good tire and much quieter than the prior GY tire. Mine were through NTB.

anyone have problems with new tires and the pressure sensors?

I had 4 Michelin Pilot Sport zp's installed by NTB this summer. They special ordered the tires and the installation was done by a mechanic with run-flat experience. No problems with the TPS system - works great. Also, the Michelins run a lot quieter than the Goodyear tires that were on the car.
