IMO nothing beats the sound of top of third when engine is pulling towards its 7K redline.....
4th just doesn't have the same sound.....
Does your LT1 have the same problem????
Friday evening I washed my engine (rained a few times last week so engine bay looked like smacked butt) and I got the front of the engine soaked.
Long story short early saturday morning the car started fine and engine pulled 3rd to 7005.....
Screen shot....7005 (rev limited via fuel cut off)...
Here's a couple pics of my vert behind the wife's G8GT IOT show some perspective of how low my DD is . With level across roof IOT at highest point......car is less than 46"
Lets see some pics of your lowered C4 ....
Parts nobody will see but they look nice (a little over 600 bones)
DRM bracket that will take away some anti squat and some decent trailing arms to free up suspension travel.
Torque converter not locking even at steady highway speeds. Cruise control still works so does that eliminate the brake switch or are there separate brake switch circuits for the cruise control and torque converter lock up?
I finally finished my heads cam install and the car runs pretty darn good!
The heads looked so good I hated installing the intake and headers since they blocked the view to the ports!
The best thing is that is, it still looks like a full bolt on car just like before the install. However...
Does anybody on this site have a stock lower end LT1 that is putting down around 400 RWHP. So if your car is putting down 380RWHP and up I want to hear from you.
What are your mods: ie
Head/Cam package are you running.
fuel injectors
Throttle body
Headers
Gears
You name it.
Thanks
Mike
My C4 has displayed -01 Fahrenheit on two different days so far this winter, the added power was pretty exhilarating. I live above 6300ft so power is usually a bit down due to the altitude.
What is the lowest temp in Farenheit you have seen displayed in your C4?
