I was reading one of your post about the 40 series flowmaster. Are the 50 series really to quiet? I dont want the car to be to loud, just better then stock. The 40 series sounds good at idle and cruise? Thanks for your input
How much of a job was it to strip the 81? Is it something a back yard machanic can do? I have some expirience with metal but not glass. By the way the 74 looks sweet also.

you helped me trouble shoot a problem with my temp gage and light switch and as you suggested there was a problem with the gage circuit board. There was a crack in the copper contact where the plug plugs in. I replaced it and everything works fine now. Thanks again for all your help.

It only happens when head light swith is on. I think you are correct to say that some wires may be touching or the circuit board may be shorting. As you adjust the dimmer switch to high or full the temp gauge goes up, as you turn it down gauge needle goes down. Its almost like I am...
Maybe someone can help. When I turn my headlights on, my temp gauge needle goes off the charts, litterly gets pinned. When I adjust the light switch all the way down the temp gauge returns to normal.

Maybe someone can help me. My temp gauge works fine until you turn on the headlights. After turning them on the temp gauge pin goes off the charts. As you dial the light switch adjustment down, the temp gauge needle returns to the normal temperture.
