    thanks for your reply charlie! i believe there is a difference in the ecm and the ccm computers.the ecm seems to be alright. the ccm,which is located under the center dash is the one i am looking for.none of the catalog suppliers has this part.so i guess a salvage supplier will be my next...

    Vacuum line for heater control valve

    thanks for the reply Brian! yes i do have the assembly manual,but it does not show the top of the heater very well.when i bought this 76 there was no heater or a/c ,so i bought a heater box and the ducts.that is why i don't know if i'm missing parts or not. and i can't find the white vacuam line...

    to bmotojoe--reading your post you mention a h/c water switch on top of the heater box.can you post a picture of this? i have a 76 coupe and the heater assembly is removed,but there is no switch on the top.what would i order if i need this part?--thanks---john

    Uhhhh looks like it could be Heater Core time!

    save your old core! on my 76 i bought 3 new cores that would not fit!finally had the ends off of my old harrison core soldered on to a new core body by a radiator shop.good luck!---john

    hi! I JUST BOUGHT A 76 COUPE THAT HAS BEEN STORED FOR 4 YEARS OR MORE,AND JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING I TOUCH EITHER BREAKS OR FALLS APART.THE DASH IS OUT,ALL OF THE HEAT AND AIR DUCTS ARE MISSING,ETC. MY QUESTION IS THIS-I'VE REBUILT BOTH FRONT WHEELS,AND CANNOT GET THE CALIPERS TO BLEED BY PUMPING...

    odometer not right?

    odometer well guys i really feel embarrassed about not knowing my tire size or inflation .when all else fails read the directions! the tire size on the vette now is 275/40/17 and the proper inflation posted on the door says 34 pounds per tire.thanks for a wake up!! but i still am puzzled about...

    odometer reading thanks for the input guys! i appreciate it! my tires are 275/75/17 bfgs,i run 40 lbs. pressure in them,when i became aware of the milage i checked it against a known 1.1 mile distance that i'm familiar with.that is how i came up with the 3 tenths over every mile. i don't know...
