Trying to budget a rebuild is almost impossible.....my original budget was out the window after the first week.....Probably more than tripled in the end.....I tried not keeping track after awhile for sanity's sake (and my wife's). Good Luck! :beer
Yes, Lift the engine up slightly, then remove the three bolts holding the mount to the block....going back in is the same way...trust me...done it three times this year already!!!!!
Drove it about three hours today, hi way, country roads, still have a clutch that grabs less than an inch off of the floor. Stop by local garage to B.S. awhile, told them about the situation and one of them has a buddy who owns a tranny shop....called him and his suggestion was to bleed it...
