    headers@fuel pressure

Just say no to inexpensive fuel pumps! Had the same problem with pressure after building the engine in my '86. Kept on changing fuel pumps ( 4 in one season, all from auto zone). Turn key, pressure would go to just over 40. At shut down, pressure would drop immediately. Occasionally, I would...

Question: What is causing my '89 to stall?

Look inside your gas tank for anything that shouldn't be there. I had a bead of silicone floating around one time that caused similiar actions. Under acceleration, it would get sucked into the screen and slow the flow, sit for a second and it would fall off and slosh around..didnt always get...

    17" X 9.5 '88 - '96 ZR1 wheels on a 1986?

Thanks Boom, Think I found some with a similiar offset (35mm). Talk about confusing, just for the heck of it, I stopped at the NTB near the office today, he showed me a bunch of styles. I asked about offsets, the wheels he was showing me were in the 50 to 56mm range. I said are you sure they...

    Question: about injectors

I agree with Glenn...nearly same amount of work to change them all, Jon was awesome at FIC, and as Glenn said, nearly impossible to describe, the Bosch III's are a GREAT deal!

Trying to budget a rebuild is almost impossible.....my original budget was out the window after the first week.....Probably more than tripled in the end.....I tried not keeping track after awhile for sanity's sake (and my wife's). Good Luck! :beer

    Clutch Slave?

Drove it about three hours today, hi way, country roads, still have a clutch that grabs less than an inch off of the floor. Stop by local garage to B.S. awhile, told them about the situation and one of them has a buddy who owns a tranny shop....called him and his suggestion was to bleed it...
