on my 1978 vette i have a problem with the inside dome light. if i put the bulb in it comes on but stays on all the time. the headlight switch does not shut it off and the closed doors does not either. anyone have any ideas on this?

i have a 1978 corvette with a new sbc crate engine. i am running it as a performance motor and not original so i don't have all the smog stuff on it to worry about. my question is can i remove the vapor canister and all the vacuum lines to it? i am in illinois and there are no smog regulations...

does anyone know where i can get the double port vacuum fitting that screws in the intake manifold at the rear behind the carburater? looks like the headlight vacuum lines attach to it. i am having trouble finding it at any local auto parts store.
