There might already be a thread on this and if so I apologize. I have a leak that seems to be coming from my power steering pump. It looks to me as if it is coming from the cap area and running down the side of the pump. It is a new pump a couple months old. I had heard that if you have a belt that is too long and your pump does not set level it will leak out of the cap. That that sound right? It appears that it is leaking out of the cap and running down the side of the pump that is leaning a little to the driver side. Do you think I need a shorter belt to get the top of the pump to set level?

you know when i put it on and filled it so i could bleed the air out of system i did overfill it. but after bleeding it it is now maybe just a hair over.
