i did pull the plugs, and, its a bit lean,adjusting would be wonderful but( it requires removing the carb and drilling out a plug etc, a lot of hassell in a parking garage, i was hoping i could just put in lower octane to to fatten it up a little, i know the lower octane has a lower flash...
i ran with out the ac and played with adjusting the cooling fan at different temps,
i can control the operating temp from 174 up to and beyond 207....and maintain a constant at any setting in between.
thats with a 160 and and an adjustable cooling fan stat

i put in a 160 hpertech stat and an adjustable fan thermostat.
with the AC off(to keep the fans from running) i can regulate my operating temp from 174 up to and aver 207

i spent in excess of 500 bucks for the same problem
it turned out be pilot error
i wasnt returning the door lock to its full upright position.
make sure the key is vertical when you remove it
