I have an 01 coupe with about 60k miles on it. The horn will not always blow when you press the horn button on the steering wheel. When you set the alarm, it blows every time. The dealer changed the horn relay but that didn't cure it. It works find sometimes and doesn't work at other times. Any ideas?

Horn? What's that used for?

(Sorry, I'm usually more useful than this)

That is what you use to get slow pokes out of your way. You can also flash your headlights (that works fine now, my problem is with the horn). Down here in bayou country, we have many people (mostly Democrats) who never took drivers education and need remeadial driving lessons. HAHAHA

HI there,
It would be suggested to remove the airbag assembly and make sure the connection is sound inside.
They sometimes come loose or the plastic breaks.

I will check the steering wheel connections.. Is it best to disconnect the battery when working around the air bags. I wouldn't want to activate them by accident if that is possible.

Hi there,
Whenever you are working with electrical circuits, its always helpful to disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait 15 mins.
Then, proceed with service.
