Is removal of the windshield header center trim very hard? I just recieved a pair of new visors for my 1960 however my car never had them installed at the factory...

I'm thinking if I could remove the center trim, I could then remove drill mounting holes in the appropriate location and epoxy (JB Weld) some nutes onto the trim as it is my understanding just drilling holes into the trim will not hold the screws in place over time...

Thanks kindly...

Ken

I don't think I would try that.......if I recall, and my memory is a bit challenged at times, the window posts at the top "plug" into the ends of the header. I believe that you need to remove the windshield and frame from the car because the window posts need to at least split open at the top. The trim doesn't just snap on.

If you get started on this, be prepared to open a can of worms......
