I just purchased a 1966 corvette coupe from my dentist who has owned it for 53 years 😊 I am needing advice on catalogs for parts. Thanks

Welcome to CAC! :w 1966...My favorite year of the mid-years. PICTURES! we need PICTURES. What parts are you looking for? There are a ton of suppliers out there, just depends on what you are looking for.

The 66 needs interior. The seat on driver side is torn & the carpet is really faded. I have been looking at Al Knoch interiors for new carpet & seat covers. Just debating if I should leave it as is with the original interior in it since it’s had the same owner for the past 53 years. Would it hurt the value of the car if I replaced seats , carpet & door panels ? Just needing some advice from the corvette experts Thanks

Al Knoch has been the go to guy for Corvette interiors for years. If the car is original...original engine, trans, etc. going back with original type would be a probably be the way to go. If you are thinking about restomodding it, do what suits you.

Welcome to the CAC.

If the interior is in excellent condition but just showing it's age by all means keep it. Since it's torn it will not hurt the car's value by replacing it with a correct interior. Go all the way with new seat foam too and it will look and sit like new.

Ordered a complete interior plus new foam for my 66 from Al Knoch interior . My interior in the car was shot on the driver side. Can’t wait for it to get here . Thanks for your help 😊👍🏻
