I understand the $$ function of selling these cars overseas. It still pains me to see them shipped out of the country. :ugh
 
A lot of these car get sent to countries and simply rot we have a guy here in Japan that buys american cars like crazy and they sit there until the bodies fall off the frame then he crushes them!!! we have a few american guys out here that Save these cars from the grave yard. there are only two C3's on this island mine and the other guy who is running the ZZ4 completely custom makes me dream of the days when my car is complete.

Some were originally sold overseas as well. Mine never had a us rego. Was sold new in Japan.

I beg to differ. There are over 125 Corvettes on the island. At least 20 C-3s. Granted they don't get driven much but they are here. Mine included. There are three corvettes for sell at okinawa yard sales . com.
