- 1976 Stingray / L-48 Auto / Red / Black
A friend of mine passed away and left me his 1976 Stingray ( Red with Black interior )
He purchased the car, in 2007, in West Virginia, where he lived at the time. According to the original title the car had 1495 miles on the odometer, when he purchased it.
Shortly after buying the car he suffered a massive stroke and was paralyzed. The car was put into a barn and stored there, until it was transported to me, in North Carolina.
Currently the odometer reads 1773 miles, so he only drove it 278 miles, before his stroke. It is not running and the Hood Release cable broke, making it impossible ( for me ) to open the hood.
I have a clean North Carolina title, in my name, ready for immediate transfer. I also have the original Bill of Sale from when my friend purchased the car and other documents.
I no longer have the health, strength, or finances to do justice to restoring this car and I wa ould like for it to go to a good home.
I am asking $6200 for the car, but I am open to reasonable offers. I still have outstanding bills from when my father passed away, two years ago, and I need to generate cash to pay them off.
My email address is http://Ez2cDave@aol.com
My cellphone number is 919-340-3190 ( Wife's smart phone )
I have attached pics below . . .
Thanks,
Dave Fitch.
