I have a 1978 coupe and the interior courtsey lights are not working when I open either door. Took a test light to the wires that go to door pins, no power. Using the headlamp switch and turning it all the way counterclock wise, as designed, I can make the lights come on. The dome light and the 2 lights one on each side under the dash. Check fuses with test light and all appear to be good. Any suggests?

Thanks

Could be the courtesy light timer. Very common problem, should be able to find more info through a search than what I can tell you.:thumb

Sorry I can't help as my interior lights stay on all the time. I have been told the timer is located behind the glove box. I don't know what it looks like, but I haven't gotten around to trouble shoot that problem yet.
