1978 Vette Horn

I bought this Vette in July and have been trying to do some work on it as I have time. The horn is not working, but I have tested the actual horns and they work. The guy at the Goodyear place said it looks like some parts are missing in the steering column,shaft.

Does anyone know if there is a complete set of the parts that can be purchased for the repair of the horn. At 25 yrs old I figure go ahead and replace the whole mechanism. I have looked on Corvette Central and there are so many different sets of parts I am confused.

The various vendors have kits to repair the plastic pieces in steering column. I bought mine at www.tld-corvette.com, but I'm sure Zip and the others have them. It is part number 623019. If that doesnt cover everything you need, give them a call. Both Todd and James are very helpful.
