The inner door panel on the drivers side appears to be pulling away the metal outer door itself. How can i go about re-attaching this? Any help would be appreciated.

I drilled holes into my door panel and into the metal behind it. Then, I installed a proper sized screw with a nice finishing washer. I put 5 or 6 screws all around the door panel. This is by no means original, but it works for me.

Thanks...a good idea. Might try that today. Just need to make sure the holes are close enough to the bottom as to not strike the window when i drill though....They must have been long scres, say 3" or so......

I had purchased a variety set of screws from Autozone. There were several different sizes. (maybe it was 2 packs). Yep, some screws need to be 3" long, but in other places, they don't. I put the holes about 1/2" from the door panel edge. Just look carefully for the best place and make sure that there is no hole in the metal door-skin where you want to drill, otherwise you will have to make another hole and then have a messy looking door panel.

I did the job today. Bought 3 " machine screws..really only needed one of them. I put the screw through the carpet section on the door panel and angeled it downward a bit..with a washer on..it held GREAT!!!...I then put a little super glue on the screw head, trimmed off some same color carpet from under my drivers seat and glued it to the screw head..NO ONE would ever know it was their!!

Thanks for the great idea...I would have never thought of this one myself!!!!
