Help! 1980 Headlight door adjustment

Just purchased a 1980 Corvette.
My passenger side headlight does not open. If I move it manually it comes up about an inch in the front and then the rear of the door hits the opening. If I press down on the body directly behind the door and turn the lights on it opens normally.
When the door is closed it looks like it is centered in the opening.
What and how to I adjust this?

sounds like a small adjustment issue. I've attached a diagram and the text from my FSM. (If you haven't got one of these yet I would recommend you get one)
You'll need to use adjustment 1 to move the door forward so it clears the body when opening.
Adjustment 2 is for the opening of the headlight
Adjustment 3 is the closing.
