It doesn't work even when I turn the switch. We haven't looked into the problem very much, so we don't know what causes it. It may even be just a dead bulb.

A great vette resto shop in your area is Corvette Only in Greenville. They sponsor a huge Poker Run in the Spring. Anyway, I would recommend getting to know them as a valuable source of info. Secondly, there is a machine shop here in the Charlotte area the rebuilds vortec heads. I picked up a pair rebuilt with better than factory springs and seals for around $450.00/pair. This included oem rocker arms. Vortec heads are great heads for the budget minded but do not have egr valve capability. Before you do anything make sure you know and understand your emissions laws in SC. Here in NC I am exempt from the sniffer because my car is more than 25 years old. If you are exempt, you can do pretty much anything you want.

Thanks for the info, I'll into talking with those guys. How much did the heads help? I'll have to find out about the laws, make sure I don't do anything wrong!

The vortec heads helped a lot, however, I still have not installed the proper cam to really open them up and get full usage. Hopefully a new Comp Cams extreame energy 268 is in my future.
