1980 Rear Window Hatchback Hekp Req

I have a 1980 vette with the Car & Concepts rear window hatchback modification.

It has ;after 20 years ,started to leak in heavy rain.

I've started searching for the sealing rubber replacement but so far not much luck.

Can anybody point me in the right direction or am I out of luck????

Thanks in Advance

Wow , this board is great. That was fast.

I'd like to ask one more question. The Glass Tops have a plastic piece that runs around the perimeter. Used to be dark Black in colour. Now it's become faded. I can use a silicone spray to make it dark for a while but it just fades out again.

Can you buy the plastic trim????

Any suggestions.

Enigma- do you mean the rubber trim that runs around the edge of the t-top glass? If so it's still available from GM last I checked, BUT my local dealership wanted $120 EACH (they can keep them forever at that price). Thompson Astro Tops does have a replacement, however it is incorrect for NCRS standards as it is too thick, but it's only about $40 for both. I bought a set and had trouble fitting it on the back of the glass where the latch mechanism is, you'll probably have to trim it a bit. Luckily my stock pieces are fine and just needed to be glued back together. If you want to keep your stock pieces there are products like Forever Black to return them to a nice deep black color. Also check your local auto supply store for bumper and trim dye.

Thanks conedude and scott81. Again, this place is great! I can't believe I didn't come here a long time ago.

Thanks Again.
