1981 manual tranny

What is the manual transmission that comes stock in our '81s (who makes it)? I read through the service manual and all I could find is that it is an 83mm. I

Can B/W trans hold up with new 383 engine?

Does anybody know if this BW transmission support a ZZ 383 GM crate motor?

Does anyone have a spare 4 speed and the entire crossover "package",such as pedal assembly,crossmember,shifter,bell housing driveshaft,etc,etc,etc,? Would make a super Christmas gift for my wife (ok, it would be for me).
