Help! 1981 power mirror issue

For better or worse, my '81 has power mirrors. My driver side was attacked AT A REPAIR FACILITY. Easy to find replacement mirror glass (everybody has). Don't need trunnion (most durable part that everybody offers). It would seem that the plastic backing plate or panel that the mirror attaches to, isn't offered by anyone & of course, mine is trashed. The trunnion will not grasp it. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A SOURCE? Thanks! ad

THANKS! Have messaged them. I suppose a glob of epoxy on both places where the trunnion attaches would hold onto the plate, however when that stuff sets up, I could say goodbye to any future mirror adjustment.
