Had the starter and battery changed out in my '84.....and it seems right after this got done, my radio went dead. Checked the obvious blade fuse on passengers side, but it's ok........Now I've pulled the radio and am trying to check for power to the radio. Shouldn't I be able to turn on the key, and using a test light, see if I have power to the radio? And, duh, which one of those hundred million wires that come to the radio is supposed to be the hot one? I tried the test light thing, and can't find power on any of the wires coming to the radio. Sure I was doing it right, changed where I was grounding, and still nothing. Kinda thinking that when the starter and battery got changed, they might have blown another fuse or pinched a wire somewhere. I've done some investigating under the hood, but thought I'd ask out here and maybe someone can point me in the right troubleshooting direction.
