Can I put 1990 rims on a 1984? Or do I need some type of an adapter? And, if I use the adapter, is this going to cause any problems down the road?

Thanks everyone....

You need adapters to use 17" wheels on an '84. I had 17's on my '85 Vette and they looked great. You'll have no problems with the adapters ;)

Rims

You want to know what really looks trick??

ZR-1 rear rims will fit on an 84-87 rear wheels with no adapters. They stick out just a pinch but not that bad. You will need the adapters from one of the various vendors for the front wheels.

Otherwise, you will need all four adapters to complete the job.

It looks really nice when finished.

Thanks guys. I really like the 90's rims. Thanks for your help.
