I just got this 86 corvette. Previous owner said it has a lot of $$$ in the engine- less than 1000 miles on engine. Original L98 with stroker kit, Dart iron eagle heads, edelbrock tpi intake, BBK twin blade throttle body, iac delete, underdrive pulleys, heads are studded and guide plated, comp roller tip rockers. full flowmaster exhaust, and I think long tube headers
Runs good, drives good. but he thinks it needs a new fuel pump, because at higher rpm's it starves for fuel. It's still the stock pump. I can tell, going at about 45mph and then pushing the accelerator to the floor, it does feel like it chokes down a little.
Is there a good aftermarket fuel pump for my setup?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I'm not the most mechanically inclined, but I do know a little and learning.
