I'm working on a 1929 Ford Truck street rod, with a 1987 Corvette tune-port injection system. Very nice ride, has an after market wiring harness, no a/c system on truck, has 3 speed automatic transmission. It will run but you can un-plug all 4 injectors on left bank when running and has no effect on performance, it runs really bad. I have ignition fire, have 150 psi compression at cylinders, have fire to injectors, have correct resistance on injectors (14 ohms cold)(17.5 warm), have checked ground issues, new distributer, cap, rotor button, ignition coil, have tried another ECM, tried to set idle counts (reading stay's high 80-105) should be below 70 counts for correct idle, have set tps(0.54 ohms),mass air flow also staying high(8-11 ohms) spec's 4-7 ohms. Have drove truck alot to try and re-learn ECM, still runs badly. Owner states the truck has been this way for some time. NEED HELP PLEASE ANYONE.

Hmmm interesting question

ok taking a stab in the dark here...

1) Have you hooked up a NOID light to see if the injectors are actually getting power & switching?

2) There are 2 transfer tubes that get fuel from one rail to the other to feed the injectors... the fuel pressure test valve is on the feed side ( drivers )
Is it the passenger side that you can unplug and the engine still runs?

3) Are you getting fuel to the side that ISN'T running.. are the plugs wet?

How are you dealing with the fuel loop...you pump from the tank... and the return goes where?

Does this engine have GM diagnostics? If so, are there any codes set?

Lacking additional symptoms, I say that 87 systems are batch fire on a per bank basis, so if one whole bank is dead, I'd say there either a wiring mistake somewhere or one injector driver is fried.
