No disrespect but I didn't pay attention and bought a targa that didn't fit.
3 different specs for C4 Targa tops
84-early 86 - 28 inches between front mounting bolts
late 86 - 88 - 31.5 inches between front mounting bolts
89 - 96 - 32.5 inches between front mounting bolts

Thank You for the info. I was told it would fit all those yrs. My husband passed and I had to sell the car . Don't know much about the parts, that I would like to sell. I have other items for sale ( brand new jacket, collector car fire extinguisher, Vette cooler, and more ) Again THANK YOU for the info! Robin

What year was the Corvette he had? That would probably indicate the years it will fit.

It was an1987. Had less than 25,000 miles on it. I'm regretting selling it now .. loved driving the car! The roof panel was never put on the car ( stayed in its cover, in the closet).
