"Charcoal Met. w/Black interior, " It also has one of my favorite wheels. Wish I had those on mt CE.

Crap, one of my favorite colors on the markey and I can't buy right now. Uh, what's up with that steering wheel?
That's not stock, is it?

Steve - Charcoal Met. is indeed a rare car - I know of an Aero Vert in 89 that was done (tan leather).

That steering wheel would have to go, IMHO :( 300 bucks or less, youcan get a nice original 89 wheel :upthumbs

Maybe Corvette Mike will hold it for you 'till Christmas ;) :v

Hi all,

I am a long time lurker, and I think this may actually be my first post. Anyways, I went to look at this car this afternoon.

The good:
The motor was gone through about 20K ago by Lingenfelter. When it fired up it sounded really healthy. The salesman said that the folks there had bumped it up a bit (hence the 500 hp). It had Brembos on the front.

The bad:
The car has over 118K on the clock.

Other stuff:
The salesman said that someone had called in asking to swap his Dymags for the OZs, but Mike's declined the offer. For an 89 with 118k on the clock, the car was in relatively good shape. The paint and interior were about a 7.5. And yes, the wheel would have to go. The salesman said he had a stack of paper about two inches thick.

John, are you the guy I took in my Callaway at Ecklers a couple of years ago? :D :D If so you remember what we did to those C5s :L

118k?

Good to see our cars are capable of racking up the miles. Of course regular maintenance is the key. ;)

Maintenace is absoluetly key - That car was driven about every day it would seem - over 10k mi per year, avg. and the asking price is within the ballpark of a 35k mi Callaway :upthumbs

Shows how the RPO B2K cars are holding a greater percentage of their value over ANY other C4 :eek :v

I have heard of at least 3 other B2K's in the 100K + club :m

Hey Josh,

That was me. I was actually kicking the idea around of purchasing yours when you had it up for sale a while back.

I told the salesam at Mike's the story of you walking by the Dave's C5 in third and well the second gear pull was disturbing :_rock

Mike does get really nice cars, but he wants top dollar. Your car was a steal for what you had it up for.
