1990 BRIGHT RED
I just recently changed the bushings and gears in my headlight motors because the lights only went up half way. The instillation was a success except that now only one headlight goes up. The other headlight motor doesn't even run. I jumped that headlight with the power from the headlight that works and it went up. So now I know that the headlight motor is good. Here's the big question, How can I tell if the headlight actuator is good or not?;shrug Can there be something else wrong that I'm overlooking?

My guess is that the headlamp relay module is bad!! It's on front of left front splash shield!!(About 4 X 4 X 1 1/2 inch black box 2 wire bundles plug in it!!):thumb

C4 HEADLIGHT PROBLEM

Thank you for the info, I had this feeling that the relay might be a problem. I was hoping that it wasn't because it's about $230 dollars. Is the Actuator or relay the same thing? If i purchase it I want to make sure I purchase the correct item.

1990 headlight problem

I looked this part up on ecklers web site and they called it Headlight Opening Actuator Module, and it was $190.00 The picture was the same as the one you showed me. A lot of money for such a simple part. Any part dealers that might be cheaper?
