The dates on the injectors are 1991 the codes on the injectors resemble a bosch injector, which I believe is used by GM.

I do believe that GM stopped using Bosch injectors. Mr. Corvette mentioned $1,000+ at the dealership. You don't have to buy them from the dealership. I have only bought one thing from a Chevy dealership, my personal belief is that the dealership will take you for everything they can for parts.

Check out www.TPIS.com

They sell injectors starting around $60 or so. TPIS is extremely respected in the Corvette community.

do you think mr. corvette was right about 14 ohm resistance, well it doesn't mater anyways because the resistance has climbed quite a bit in 3 month.

Several Good aftermarket sources exist for Fuel Injectors

You can use fuel injectors from a variey of sources.
Mid America offers replacement fuel injectors that are not the manufactured by GM's former supplier Boshe, TPIS, etc. Accel would should work fine I would shop around to get the best price. Specify the year make and model, and type of fuel injection system Tuned Port fuel injection for compatibility.

The only concern down the road if you enter a national car show for certification such as Bloomington Gold, or an NCRS meet, the judges will deduct for non-OEM equipment installed on the Corvette including fuel injectors.

Have you checked your fuel pressure regulator?

I had a similar problem last year. Smelled gas from time to time, started rough, etc... Turned out it was a bad fuel pressure regulator diagnosed by the GM dealer. I ended up replacing it myself. Not a bad job. Couple of hours. Just a thought.

Have you ruled out or checked your distributor? I get ALOT of GM's in the shop with the identical problem and it turns out the after HOURS of testing piece after piece the distributor magnet is cracked and the cylinders basicly fire at will. At High throttle it clears up but at idle Whoa look out heh.

when I took the top end off including the distributer it seem fine. the shaft rotated fine and no sign of weak bearings, the gear was clean and looked fine, and I tested the pick up coil and it was within resistance, is that what magnet your talking about? I also replaced the module, coil, and cap and rotor.
