Hi Eugene and welcome to the :CAC

Thanks, i appreciate any help, am i asking in the correct place?

The "Black Book" says that 169 autos with Z07 option were made in 1991 even though the manual was supposed to be specified. That's pretty cool.

Check the RPO sticker to start with. It is either under the console lid or under the compartment lid behind the passenger seat.

Also, it should have the Adjustable Suspension (Selective Ride Control - FX3) knob on the center console behind the shifter. That's not 100% since FX3 could be ordered w/o ZO7 package but all ZO7 cars got FX3.

If the RPO sticker is missing, you can get a window sticker and build sheet for your car from the National Corvette Museum - https://store.corvettemuseum.com/services/buildsheet.asp - that would tell you everything you need/want to know about how your car left the plant.

Thanks for the info Tuna, i did see the RPO sticker under the console lid and it does not say FX3 or Z07 like the 6 speeds does, this is a automatic transmission and i have read in others blogs people that have the 1991 z07 and it does not specify it on the RPO, that is why i am so curios to know if its really a Z07 or not.

IT should be one of the last ones listed Z07. Look for FE1 that is base suspension. Do you have the adjustable knob between the power seat swtiches? How big are the front rotors? They should be 13". The front sway bar should be 30mm in diameter. Spring codes are FHB front, and NYU rear.

No it does not have the knob for the ajustable suspension, these are the codes,

AC1, AC3, AJ3, AR9, BGR, C2L, C68, DL8, D78, D8K, E5Z, E92, FE1
GM1, IP3, JL9, K68,L98, MDS, MXO, NA5, NK4, QA1, UXO, U1F, U52, U75,
V73, XAU, YAU, IAY, ISO, 19I, 193, 199, 24S, 81U.

Thanks for the help well appreciated.

The car in question is not a Z07.

GM never built Corvettes with "Z07" badges on the rear, however, there are aftermarket badges that say that. A previous owner wanted people to think the car had Z07 so he/she stuck a badge on the back.

Thank you all for the help is well appreciated, now i can go on and decided which of my 2 vettes i am going to sell, now that i know that the 1991 is not a Z07, i will remove the bagde from the rear bumper to avoid future confusions; Thanks again.

Regards,
Eugene.

Good morning...I guess you have already figured out that your 91 isn't a Z07. Those cars had a very specific set of options to make it a Z07. The 13" front brakes, the 30mm front anti-roll bar, 25mm rear bar, the adjustable shocks and high rate springs. Had yours actually been a Z07 it would have been rare. Not many 91's with auto were equipped with the Z07.

Welcome to CAC.

As the other posters have said this is NOT a Z07 car. The FE1 designates base suspension.
