1993 Corvette question

Question regarding the trip odometer/ fuel economy buttons to the left of the driver information center on a 93 C4 Corvette . these buttons do not work on my car. I've replaced the entire driver information center and buttons along with the entire instrument cluster but still nothing . my guess now would be this is an issue within the ECM ??? Your thoughts ? Any help would be appreciated ! Really driving me nuts this doesn't work. I mean it doesn't affect anything and the car runs just fine but it bothers me when something doesn't work !!

I'm guessing you have a SYS flashing in the dash cluster speedometer LCD.

The Driver Information switch/button circuit consists of a network of resistors

The Central Control Module provides 5 volts on the Dark Green/Yellow wire.
White/Black wire is ground.

When you press one of the buttons a voltage is read by the CCM and is how the CCM determines what button was pressed.

You can run diagnostics by using a piece of wire and short pin A to G on the diagnostic connector above the drivers right knee. Turn the ignition to ON don't start the engine. Look at the dash cluster speedometer area. Any error codes will be displayed and for what module.

Module 1 is the CCM
Module 4 is the ECM
Module 9 is the ABS/ASR

Actually I have nothing flashing on the dash or anywhere else . if you don't push one of this buttons you would never know there was an issue with anything and the car runs and drives great . but I hate when something doesn't work. Thanks for this info . I'll get into it tomorrow and see what I can find . thank you
