1998 & C5s

Hello, been a while.

I have gotten a little sidetracked looking at the C5s and am interested in a 1998 in the area while checking out a 1977 a co-worker brought to my attention.

My question, is the Z51 option available with the Selective Real Time Damping, electronic option ( my Black Book says no but the seller says he has both )?

Also any tips on things to look for or Years to avoid etc would be appreciated.

Welcome back!
I'm somewhat dubious since my Black Book also says RPO Z51 and RPO F45 were not available together. My suggestion would be to take a look at the options posted in the Vette - glove box, I think - and compare to your Black Book or this comprehensive list here:

I won't get to see the glove box till Monday. Funny, there seems to be alot of corvettes for sale in my area but not a great sense of urgency on the part of the sellers.

Hard telling why that is. Maybe they really don't want to sell that bad. I'm pretty sure you can find one that will suit your needs. Good luck with the search.

I received an email from the seller saying he has the selective real time damping, not the Z51 option. I don't know if this is a worthwhile option or if it is just something else that could be a nightmare to figure out if it should fail.
Again this is a 1998 I am looking at.
