Help! 1999 Telescoping steering colum won't move

When I insert the key everything moves to the memory position except the steering colum. If I try to use the manual up/down switch for the colum it moves maybe 1/2 inch in either direction...............Any Ideas?? :confused

What no one has come up with a fix for this one yet? Most of them do not work and I figured there would be a fix by now?

There is a 'reset' procedure for the electric tilt/telescope column; you might try that. Here are a couple of threads that deal with the topic:
