1st off, THX FELLAS!!!
Ya know, I bought the car virtually stock just about two years ago. I told Lisa that all it needs are rims...yeah right :L ...little did I know. Then I joined this forum and the addiction began. I kept reading about everybody else's mod this & mod that and it was killin' me. I HAD TO HAVE IT! All said though, you never realize how awesome your car can be until all the mods start to come together and you can really tell the difference from stock. This baby ran great stock BUT it runs soooo much better now! I started to think that it'll never end (and so did Lisa :L ) but I think I'm about there - could always do some suspension upgrades, and probably may eventually, but hardly a necessity. The only thing really left on my to-do list is 4.10 gears.
The cool thing is that this car is my DD and although it's been somewhat "modded" it is very streetable, in some ways more so than it was. It shifts better, handles better and even Lisa says, it just runs better. It sure does!
She finds it easier to drive now than initially - probably the clutch & shifter she's really referring to cuz the car definitely has more of a "beast" quality to it now ie: Lumpy idle, LT headers w/ no cats etc...FWIW, the Hotcam is a great cam if you want to maintain streetablity and add the LT's and whoa!
Anyhow, it's really you guys that I need to blame..err emm..I mean thank for making my car what it is today. I've learned soooo much from the members here and my car is the better for it - although my bank balance may not be. :L All things said, it's money well spent cuz I love this car & I love what it's become.
Next up after the dyno is a trip to the track before the summer heat sets in.
As w/ my dyno #'s, I'll post my track results as well. Realistically she's just a car - and there are far quicker ones than mine - and I'm not expecting "miracles" from either "test" but I think she'll stack up where she should. From what I've learned here, I think that I've put together just the things that my LT4 needed to get to the next level.
Thx for listening,
Jeff
