I have a 2000 Roadster with 6,120 miles on it. One time while driving around a curve the passenger window went down by itself. The other day the truck lid unlocked when I put the car in reverse and when I was pushing the button for the fuel door the truck lid unlocked. All of this has happened in a span of the last month. Has anyone had similar problems or know whats causing this? Does anyone know of a GOOD dealership in the Seattle area that I could take the car to for this warranty item?

This sound like a job for c4c5specialist. He will know what to do, but you might have to give him more information to correctly diagnose the problem.

Hi there,
I would suggest, that you remove your lower toe board, which covers your BCM, and the electrical center.
Then, look to see if there is any water around the area, as there should be none. We have seen water intrusion issues, which fry the BCM, and create all sorts of electrical anomolies.
I would also suggest that you look to see if there are any codes in the BCM.
Please keep us posted on what you have, besttoyou, c4c5:hb

2000 Corvette Electrical Problems

Eight codes were found in the DIC: B codes were 2252,2282,2284
2283,2285. U codes were 1064, 1225, 1016.
Also found was a loose connection at the fuse/relay panel.
The connection was repaired, battery and alt. connections tightened and the codes cleared.
Thanks.

Let us know how it turns out and if you have any other problems so that we may help. Good luck.
