Ashamed to show the asking price?

absolutley not but it seems like everytime someone post a price evryone has an oppinion and they arent even looking to buy a car. I will sell the car for 34000.00 and the book value is 35375.00. Not to mention the care of the car.
The 35375.00 is kelly book by the way.

Nope not all just nice to know that the previous owner took such good care of some. Personally I have driven mine in the snow. The car hasnt melted but the ground below it sure did as I flew by.

Many guys like myself will only purchase sports cars that have never or rarely seen rain. "How can you tell", you ask? Well, a detailed look at the undercarriage will typically let you know. "And what if the car saw rain and the owner just detailed the undercarriage", you say? Well, as long as it's clean enough to look as if it never saw rain then I don't mind a bit!

J.,

I say you go for it!:w

*lol* Do you wanna go check it out for me, Edmond? :)

Seriously, an upgrade is still on my mind, it's just an unsecure job situation and a 2 year old that is holding me back. One of these days, though...and hopefully sooner than later!

I believe

If a customer tells me their vette has never seen rain then I believe them.
After all where would this world be without trust and belief in anothers words.
The bad part is then I park em on my lot and like today IT IS RAINING..
When this car came in on trade we didnt even have to wash it off. It was probably cleaner then his new C6.

I wonder how long from Chicago to Ohio?:L

I know what you mean about an upgrade. If it goes well for me, I will jump into a C5 at the end of the year.

Actually, you'd have to bring it to Detroit for J. after I'm done checking it out for him. I checked out a ZR-1 for him a couple years ago so that's why we're talking about this.:D

Yeah, we sorta hijacked your thread, Mike. However just think of as extra publicity for the car as we keep bumping the thread to the top. ;)

Good luck with getting a C5 in the near future, Edmond. That'll be a awesome...especially if you can keep the '88 too.

Come on let's get real!!!!!!!!

The expression "my car has never seen rain or snow" is just that an expression.

And that means that the car is better then well taken care of. So give the guy a break and let him do his thing.

If we break the you know what's every person who tries to sell a car here our little sub section will come to an end.

Let's not discuss what is worth it or not.

Thanks

Alan

p.s. I'm guilty also and l will repent!

I hope my previous post wasn't taken the wrong way. I posted to show my support to Mike's statement as many people do look for cars that have either "never seen rain" or (more realistically often than not as you mentioned, Alan) look like they never saw rain.

I hope it wasn't misconstrued that I was doing any ****breaking because exactly the opposite of that was my intention!
