For your planning purposes, the following exterior paint colors will build out early for the 2003 Model Year.

These exterior colors will be cut-off for ordering approximately 4-weeks prior to the build-out week.

12U (QUICKSILVER METALLIC) AND 40U (SPEEDWAY WHITE)

Date: January 28, 2003

Order entry in VOMS will be discontinued as of January 29, 2003 for orders with 12U (Quicksilver) and 40U (Speedway White) exterior colors due to higher than expected sold order demand. Existing sold preliminary orders will be evaluated within plant capacity constraints on a will try basis.

Reference the Administrative Message dated November 20, 2002 (#CHG20020237) that provides anticipated build-out dates for Quicksilver and Speedway White. Also reference the Administrative Message dated January 10, 2003 (#CHG20030009) that provides specific order cut-off dates.

Just bought a Quicksilver 2003. What does all this mean? Is the color dicontinued for 2004 or just the remainder of 2003?

Yes, it is discountinued for 2003 and I believe it will be replaced in 2004 with a color called "Machine Silver". No further details at this time.

Electron Blue Metallic will be replaced by 19U Lemans Dark Blue Metallic.
