2003 Z06 owners portfolio

Hello.

Can anyone tell me the contents of the owners portfolio you would receive if you purchased the car new?

Is there a place where I can purchase one? Helm does not have it.

Pat, although I did not purchase my Z06 new, the previous owner was kind enough to leave the owner's portfolio with the car. Mine is a sort of folding leatherette case with the 50th Anniversary and Z06 Logos. In addition to the Warrantee and Owner's Manuals, it contains a note pad, a pen and a tire pressure gage, all with the Z06 logo on them.

I honestly don't know where you can go to get one, as I don't think Helm produced them. I think your best bet may be to try at a Chevy Dealer Parts Department.

Well, I purchased my Z brand new. I received the 50th Anniversary ZO6 VHS tape, (love to watch it still) the CD for basic operation of hvac, bose stereo, DIC, ................etc. The owners manual is a leather binder, it does come with a tire pressure gauge, pen and paper.

Yep. picked my Z-06 up used as well. The portfolio was with the car along with its contents. The tire gage is nice but the pens.....well lets just say that for the amount of money these cars cost new one would have thought that you get a NICE pen set instead of the Bic pens:eyerole . I do need to purchase a new owners manual cause it got wet and some of the pages are stuck togather and I need to get the CD and Video tape. So I'll have to write GM and findout about getting these items.

After I purchased the car I did e-mail Chevrolet custom asistance with questions about the warranty and history of the car. They were very quick to respond and told me that there was an outstanding recall notice on the car for the Electonic Column lock system. After reading here that the fix for the column lock didn't do anything I elected to not have the computer flashed.

Here is the web site for Chevrolet customer Assitance center( Chevrolet.com) or (www.mygmlink.com). You have to sign up with them and provide your VIN number on the car. After that you can e-mail them with questions. May be they can hook you up with a portfolio. It may be just me but they where very eger to help.

I was able to piece one together off ebay. I got the leather case with all the contents unused, a CD, and the Z06 video from two different sources.

If you're interested there is one on ebay right now for 2003 Z06 without the CD, pen, and airguage. I am thinking about buying it and holding it for a while since they are pretty scarce.
