If you want to see the 06 Z06, look at:

Edit: That site you linked to Hib...is gross. If you're going to post a link to the photographs, I'd rather it be this link...complete with comments from the competition: :L - Rob

Clearly, these are high quality images shot with GM sanction. You wouldn't have a studio-shot image with the C5R in the background as a spy shot.

Obviously, GM has a big security problem or.....GM is leaking the images and any embargo it might have announced is a sham.

well, with all due respect the background in the "shop" photo looks artificial. seems to me that gm might be running the entire embargo thing to drum up more interest ( as if this is necessary ) but this car looks mighty fine whether it's "real" or only "virtual".

Hib,
I'm with you. As a professional photographer, I can tell you--NO WAY are those images spy shots!!!! As soon as I saw the first image I thought: brochure shot, maybe--and shot by a pro. Ok, say these are spy images, then someone hired a pro to shoot them. But the C5/6-R in the background is a dead giveaway.
Someone's trying to be funny. The images are too slick and studio posed-and not the usual--shaky, grainy, too far away thru the trees and traffic images that usually denote spy shots by a surprised amateur. :Steer

What about these backgrounds? Artificial?

And the car -- real or "virtual?"

Those are all current prmo shots from GM of the C6 coupe -- which is real.

car real yup background ( top and bottom )real? maybe... still don't believe Z06 "shop" photograph . this whole embargo thing seems more and more like a very very sharp marketing plan....and you know what? It's working like a charm......how many days now? 25 or so?
