2009 Corvette Price Increase

GM announced yesterday that there will be a price increase on all 2009 Corvettes. This price will effect any Corvette that is not already in dealer stock.

This price increase is $1,520 across the board.

Below are the new base prices before destination:

Coupe - $48,565
Convertible - $53,220
Z06 - $73,925
ZR1 - $103,970

I wouldn't count on those prices. The 08 Z06's were listing for 71-72k, by July you could pick one up at most dealers for 65-66k In this country it's the market that sets the price, not the manufacturer(or the government) at least for now.
