As a relatively new 'Vette owner, 1998 coupe, which I have owned for not quite a year, I just saw what I think might be one of the most beautiful Corvettes I have ever seen.

Driving around our small, mid-Western town in Illinois, is a 2009, GT1. Had never seen nor heard of this one prior to seeing it, so went directly to the internet to see what I could see and find out what it is. Awesome looks and, based on the specs and stats, incredible vehicle.

I have my sites set on one down the road. Assuming I can get lucky enough to find one an owner will decide to give up when I'm ready to buy. Gorgeous car and awesome muscle under the hood. Any owners/members want to chime in and fill me in on the details and/or drivability of this one, please, I'm all ears/eyes.

As I remember the GT package was a limited edition trim package. The edition was going to be limited to 200 each coupes, convertibles and Z06s. At the end of the day, the edition did not sell out, so fewer than 600 examples remain. They were available in yellow or black with large hood, top and deck graphics. I've seen quite a few available lately as leases expire or folks are looking for a change. This is all from memory, someone may put a finer line on it, but that's the general story.
