2011 Carbon Section Photo is not A Carbon

Hi Folks:

The Corvette pictured in the banner heading is an Inferno Orange Z06/Z07 with the CFZ option, not a Carbon. Notice it has a black painted roof and the side view mirrors are body color, also the rims are grey. A Carbon edition would have a body color painted roof with black painted mirrors and the rims would be painted gloss black.

Why don't you start a 2011 Z06/Z07 section registry also, only 288 were built in 2011, they are as rare as the Carbons, have the same suspension, exhaust, spliter, side skirts, spoiler and wheels/tires, although one could not be ordered with the CF hood for 2011.

The banner image, is the generic C6 banner image we use throughout the C6 sections of the site. Example:

2005 - 2013 C6 Corvette Center

If the 2011 Z06/Z07 Corvettes came with unique VINs, it would be easy to build a Registry for them with the production information, however, since they didn't, it would take an enormous amount of time to sift through production data for all of the Z06s built that year looking for the Z07 option.
